Stay cool in scorching heat۔

Stay cool
in scorching heat۔

How to stay cool nowadays in a challenging bad weather condition where we are facing a dangerous rise of temperature reaching up to the level of 46 degree centigrade or more. A large number of males, females, aged persons & children are becoming the victims of heat born diseases like HEAT EXHAUSTION & HEAT STROKE , where patients complain of feeling themselves hot, sudden stopping of sweat, cool & moist skin, high body temperature & some time below normal temperature, nausea, headache, dizziness , body pain & cramps. Apart from these, there are so many heat born diseases those are related to the other systems of human body like Digestive & Urinary system .

Avoid from walking or working in the peak hours of sunlight ( 9 AM to 3 PM ) and avoid from sternous work and avoid from working in heat and in the kitchen or with oven like appliances. These types of work causes excessive sweating resulting in fluids & electrolytes loss from the body leading to dehydration.
Try to take rest in a shady area or if possible in an air-conditioned place. Don't use excessive tea, coffee, fried items, non veg and spicy food. Drink plenty of cool oral fluids, use juicy fruits like pineapple, mango, peaches , leechis , falsa & belgiri (Aegle marmelos) . Wear loose cotton clothes, prevent head, neck and chest from sunlight and hot wave of air. Keep a cool wet handkerchief in your hand for time to time sponging on body's parts. Running of high rise of temperature in these days signalling for many diseases but in short I would like to discuss here about Heat Stroke.
HEAT STROKE.
When you feel hot to touch and sudden stopping of sweating, excessive thirst, cool and moist skin, headache, body ache, cramps in muscles, specially legs, nausea, dizziness, weakness and a rapid pulse then select a cool place for comfortably lying down start drinking lots of water, apply cold compresses and if you are not diabetic use exhilarant (Mufarreh) & aromatic sharbats ( syrups ) like sharbat khus,(root of Indian aromatic grass) sharbat gulab ( rose syrup)and sikanjbeen lemoni (lemon syrup) with cold water and fruit juices to quench the thirst. This is a type of First Aid to Heat Stroke/Sun Stroke patient.
Immediate consult with a physician for proper treatment.

What Time Should You Sleep? Is there a best time to sleep? There is a saying that sleeping early and waking up early is good for your health. How true is that? Is it alright to sleep late and wake up late? You actually have an amazing biological clock ticking inside your body. It is very precise. It helps to regulate your various body functions including your sleeping time. From 11pm to 3am, most of your blood circulation concentrates in your liver. Your liver gets larger when filled with more blood. This is an important time when your body undergoes detoxification process.  Your liver neutralizes and breaks down body toxins accumulated throughout the day.
